Actuarial Consultant (all levels)

Our Prague office is a regional hub serving clients across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Western Europe. You'll work on high-impact projects with supportive, experienced colleagues in a dynamic, international environment. At WTW, we offer a clear career path, continuous development, and the opportunity to shape the future of insurance consulting.

The Role

We are looking for actuarial talent at all levels to join our growing Insurance Consulting and Technology team in Prague. Whether you're just starting your career or bring years of experience, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the life and non-life insurance sectors.

Our team supports clients on complex and high-impact assignments including pricing, reserving, product development, financial and regulatory reporting, M&A, and risk modeling. You’ll collaborate with professionals from across WTW, gaining exposure to regional and international engagements.

Depending on your experience level, you will:

Work with a variety of local and international clients across life and non-life insurance. Work as part of a collaborative team across disciplines and geographies. Analyze and prepare data, build models, and interpret results to deliver clear insights. Apply actuarial concepts and advanced modelling techniques. Develop technical skills in actuarial tools and methodologies. Build relationships with clients and support business development activities.

The Requirements

We seek driven individuals with solid numerical skills and a knack for problem-solving. If you’re excited about making an impact in a fast-paced, global environment, this role is for you! Here’s what we value:

Education: A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, or related field is preferred. Other qualification: Progress in actuarial exams or full qualification for senior roles. Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Technical competencies: Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with R, SQL, PowerShell or Python is a significant advantage. Familiarity with actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, RiskAgility, ResQ) would also be beneficial. Attitude: Strong creative thinking, a collaborative mindset, a passion for teamwork, and willingness to travel occasionally. Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Czech, Slovak, or another CEE language (e.g., Polish, Hungarian, Romanian) is a plus.
