Actuarial Analyst, Global Asset Modelling
_We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our MBPS Actuarial Function as an_ **_Actuarial Analyst_** _. Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 200 staff and growing, along with increasing range and ownership of deliverables, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more._ **Position Responsibilities:** + Prepare and update asset and reinvestment assumptions within models and supporting files to ensure accuracy and quality. Execute all necessary steps effectively, and identify and address dataset peculiarities to ensure reasonableness of the model. + Evaluate the reasonableness of the deliverables, such as adherence to the guidance and movements in cashflows. + Review the models and outputs produced by junior staff to ensure accuracy and alignment with standards. + Be involved with change management of the models, including assumption updates and model refinements. + Support GAM’s business objectives by actively participating in projects and initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and facilitating change management. + Support the development of the team’s business acumen by providing insightful analyses and training junior staff to develop their competencies. + Conduct research on issues and queries from customers as necessary. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics + At least 3 years of actuarial work experience with Insurance companies and/or Financial services + Driven to attain designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP) + Experience in actuarial modelling (preferably AXIS) and valuation in the life insurance industry would be an asset; understanding of regulations and familiarity in the manner of operations life insurance companies is a plus + Ability to clearly communicate ideas, concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences whether written and oral + Demonstrated ability meet tough deadlines and clearly set own priorities + Able to work in an evolving and dynamic environment and resilient to pressure + Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and has demonstrated team collaboration + Passion to grow and driven to be recognized as a trusted business partner + **_Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)_** + **_Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)_** **When you join our team:** + We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. + We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. + As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. **Acerca de Manulife y John Hancock** Manulife Financial Corporation es un importante proveedor internacional de servicios financieros que ayuda a las personas a tomar decisiones de una manera más fácil y a vivir mejor.
