YOUR ROLE:
Come join us as an Activity Manager at our Mulwala site. The purpose of this position is to support the Autonomous Production and/or Repair Unit (APRU) in the Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC). The Activity Manager is the guarantor of the performance of their team ensuring performance in terms of time, cost and quality, whilst ensuring the application of professionalism. They are the Functional Manager of the staff within their area of responsibility.
Working at our Mulwala site, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:
Guarantee the performance of the team in terms of time, cost and quality in compliance with the proper application of business and HSE standards.
Ensure the functional management of the entire end to end operations of the activity within the APRU.
Manage the support functions allocated in the activity of the APRU at the pace of production (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Lean & Performances).
Ensure the maintenance of standard costs, proposing areas for improvement, participating in the improvements provided to the support functions.
Guarantee the maintenance of the production / repair plan / daily expectations of the customer, anticipating industrial risks, respecting the Quality of the delivered products.
Guarantee the maintenance of Production / Repair costs.
Optimise Production / Repair and investigation of work in progress by implementing actions aimed at improving productivity and reducing rework.
Manage the workload/capacity balance and the human resources within scope with a view to overall efficiency, employee well-being through daily management and appropriate communication.
Manage the team and developing the team’s skills to increase their autonomy.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Technical knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes.
Practice of analytical and problem-solving techniques (Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Plan, Do Check Act (PDCA)).
Knowledge of supply chain principles and principal flows, industrial management control and the Multi Year Budget (MYB) process.
Implementation of continuous improvement tools (Gemba Walks, 5S, just-in-time, PDCA).
Use of digital tools/dashboards to manage the activity (analyses, decision support).
Line management, non-line management and management by influence.
Ability to prioritise and decide on relevant actions to ensure the performance of the APRU.
