Must love working with an older population and be kind, compassionate and patient. An ideal Activities Assistant needs to be able to encourage residents to participate in social activities.
**What will you do:**
-Activities department assists with planned activities for residents
-Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
-Activities Aides help monitor supplies and keep a neat orderly activity space.
-Will help in the planning of larger events as well as plan and implement their own activities.
-Basic computer skills are required.
**Minimum Requirements:**
-High School diploma/ GED or supplemental experience in working with the elderly

Eddy Heritage House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a **122-bed skilled nursing care center** located in Troy, NY. Situated on top of upper Tibbits Avenue, the center overlooks the great Hudson Valley. Dedicated to enhancing the dignity, comfort and quality of life for seniors in a homelike environment. Eddy Heritage House provides Skilled Nursing Care, Rehabilitation Services, short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation services for individuals who do not require the intensive rehabilitation therapy provided at an acute rehabilitation hospital and respite services.
Pay Range:$16.70 - $21.40
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
