General purpose:
The Activity Agent position will support the activation and execution of a wide variety of guest activities including teen programming, partnership with the Kilo Kai, Keiki Club and Food & Beverage team through a variety of activities, set up and execution of afternoon crafts, games and cultural activations. The Activity Agent will work closely with the Director of Guest Experience, Director of Food & Beverage, Keiki Manager, Kilo Kai Manager, Cultural Ambassador, Spa Director and other various Departments to communicate, set up, execute and entertain guests.

Operational
• Responsible to ensure set-up for activities and events for Guest Experience are done in a timely manner, supporting the Food & Beverage team.
• Inspect outlets daily to ascertain any maintenance, repairs, or cleanup needs etc.
• Be an active voice for the resorts Ocean Awareness & Education Program and well as the promotion of the Cultural and Sustainability efforts.
• Be a pro-active part of the resort’s safety program (specifically on the beach and around related activity programs).
• Execute operating plans/standards of service for Outdoor Adventure Programs and Operations in general.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and activities venues before, during and after each activity.
• Assist in maintaining a regular inventory of supplies and assist with forecasting and budget for replacement as needed for both Guest Experience and Food & Beverage items.
• Supports team members and guests in safe and effective usage of equipment.
• Support, implement, advise and enforce resort safety rules on use of beach and related equipment.
• Center attention on the children’s needs and safety at all times. Follow all safety rules.
• Solicit guests and members feedback on programs.
• Coordinate details for assigned programs.
General
• Consistently provide exceptional service and communication with guests and team members.
• Provide a genuine sense of Aloha and hospitality to the employees and guests of the Resort.
• Promote a warm, friendly, and safe atmosphere.
• Be an ambassador of the property; both on and off-site.
• Address guest concerns and requests quickly and follow them through to completion.
• Project a positive, friendly and caring attitude always while interacting with children and their parents.
Other tasks
• Carry out extra tasks that are assigned by the Director of Guest Experience/Director of Food & Beverage/Rooms Director and/or Resort Manager.
• Respond to any changes in Guest Experience functions, as dictated by the hotel and/or operation.
Qualifications:
General Skills
- Must be able to carry out their duties with special attention to details, quickly and effectively.

- Work under minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality in guest information and information pertinent to the hotel.
- Knowledge of general standards of LQA and Brand Standards that impact the Guest Experience team.
- General knowledge of the different restaurants and activities in and outside the Resort to be able to make recommendations and suggestions to our guests.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of Windows package programs.
- Ability to plan and organize work maximizing time and movements.
- Skills to provide an intuitive and refined service.
Experience
-Working with School aged children preferred.
-Advanced experience in ocean related activities and skills (swimming, paddling, surfing, diving etc.).
-Previous experience in a luxury resort or private club.
-Strong swimmer who’s able to handle rough ocean water conditions
-Must be able to walk in the sand and carry / pull equipment up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions
-Work outdoors in the sun and in varied weather conditions.
-Must be able to handle stressful situations and support lifeguarding and health related situations.
-Must be able to juggle various objectives while remaining positive and displaying the Aloha spirit.
