Active Directory Infrastructure Engineer II

As an experienced Site Reliability Engineering professional, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. As a member of our Identity Access Management (IAM) – Identity Federation and Directories, you'll dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions that support JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s diverse and critical businesses. You'll be using the latest technologies, data management, and security practices in all aspect of software development. Job responsibilities Applies technical knowledge to assignments with a defined scope such as testing the performance of the infrastructure and understanding and verifying that requirements were successfully met Drives results, collects and analyzes monitoring data in test and production, and sees assignments through to completion Carries out day to day work assignments with some guidance and within documented parameters Escalates issues to appropriate leaders Develops considerations for upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

 

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Bachelor's degree At least 10 years’ experience in infrastructure development/support & engineering Expert level knowledge on Windows Active Directory, including toolsets such as Quest ARS / Recovery Manager and Change Auditor Intermediate to expert level hands-on in scripting, orchestration and automation languages – such as Powershell / DSC, Python, Ansible and similar. Experience in managing large scale infrastructure through code is a plus and prior exposure to Financial Services industry is a plus. Understand or prior exposure to cloud ecosystem (AWS or Azure), virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages Experience with developing frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity, improving code health and technical standards Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication Experience in leading a technical team is a plus. Ability to collaborate with different team members to achieve common goals
