The purpose of the Investment Manger is to manage the Activation team to deliver exceptional results across their client patch, including supporting major client or sponsorship negotiations and delivery. The Investment Manager should also provide a high level of client service and maintain a cohesive working environment. The Investment Manager reports into Activation Director and is responsible for the development of Activation Executive and Coordinator, should oversee their output and provide regular feedback. This person should also provide support for the Investment leads where required on various agency projects. **Responsibilities** Activating all campaigns using the Spark Activation Model & Philosophy: + Help to negotiate trading positions across all media where there are no long-term deals in place, ensuring all benchmarks (client & internal), trading strategies & contractual agreements are met. + Benchmarks and performs all pre-trade work before booking + Manages and ensures maximum savings and added value and merchandises these to clients + Ensures that all buys are delivered against pre-determined goals and PCAs are thorough and accurate + Oversees overall client campaign reconciliation reporting to ensure 100% accuracy and elevates results internally and to clients + Have a full understanding of the client KPI's that need to be met including any 3rd party auditing benchmarks + Understand PMX product offering (such as Apex & Screens) + Oversee team are using PMX's best practice briefing and negotiation process to ensure best outcomes can be achieved Client Management + Merchandise negotiation results to clients throughout activity + Ensures all clients across the agency are kept up to date with the media marketplace + Ensure unique and market 1st opportunities are bought to clients where relevant + Has a thorough understanding of client’s business and clients internal pressures and adapts their services accordingly + Ensures 100% of contracted trading commitments and savings are met Market Analysis + Proactively completes regular and continuous analysis of market trends, economic issues and other factors effecting buys + Sources content and provides relevant insights for inclusion within market reviews and other adhoc client requests. + Keeps up to date with latest audience data and shares knowledge with the Activation team and the wider agency team. Team Development & Management + Help manage Activation team on a day to day basis - involve, educate & motivate to help develop skills and responsibilities + Develop, train and delegate effectively with clear instructions. Particular emphasis on upskilling Activation team knowledge of media channels and best practice media briefing, analysis and feedback + Motivate team through personal influence, enthusiasm, creativity and energy.
