Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide daily acquisition and program management support to senior personnel, including tracking schedules, action items, deliverables, and funding.Support development of program documentation including Statements of Work (SOWs), Acquisition Plans, Justifications and Approvals (J&As), and other lifecycle documents.Assist in the review and coordination of procurement packages and contract modifications.Perform research and analysis on acquisition strategies, market trends, vendor capabilities, and risk management.Maintain program files, track document status, and ensure timely routing of documents for approvals.Analyze cost, schedule, and performance metrics to support program health assessments.Support the Government in planning Program Reviews, CCBs, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, and action item logs.Coordinate with logistics, cybersecurity, and technical teams to ensure acquisition planning reflects lifecycle and security compliance requirements.Utilize procurement systems and databases for data entry, analysis, and reporting.Required Qualifications:
Security Clearance:
Hold an active DoD Secret security clearance. Higher clearance levels may be required for access to classified data.Acquisition Management Support I (AMS1):
Education: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: 0 years requiredSkills: Detail-oriented; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written/verbal communication; analytical and organizational skillsFamiliarity: FAR and DoD procurement procedures (working knowledge or ability to learn)Acquisition Management Support II (AMS2):
Education: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: 3 years in acquisition/program support with familiarity in DoD/Federal procurementSkills: Experienced in managing records, data analysis, and working on or leading small teamsFamiliarity: FAR and DoD procurement policiesAcquisition Management Support III (AMS3):
Education: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: 7 years of experience supporting acquisition programs with increasing responsibilitySpecific Experience:Development of Program Acquisition DocumentationProgram monitoring techniques (e.g., PERT, CPM, EVM)Data collection, cost estimation, and program status reportingTesting/Validation criteria and corrective action systemsSkills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate across functional areas, and manage complex documentation workflowsFamiliarity: Deep understanding of FAR and DoD procurement policiesPreferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePointProcurement and financial tracking systems (e.g., PRISM, Navy ERP, EDA)Analytical tools and dashboards for reporting acquisition metricsWork Location:
Charleston, SC – Norfolk, VA – Quantico, VA Primarily onsite at contractor facilities; limited travel may be required.
