Summary 

The selected candidate will serve as the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) at Whiteman AFB, MO. As the ACPSO, this individual will ensure daily security compliance tasks are conducted IAW USG instructions and policy.  The candidate will work closely with the Customer, Security Management, and assigned Program staff, ensuring all aspects of Special Programs security needs are met.

 Providing security guidance regarding program operationsAssuring compliance with applicable government and company regulationsDeveloping, obtaining approval for, and implementing security policies and procedures specific to the ProgramProviding compliant solutions to Program Security challengesAdministering security indoctrinations and debriefingsConducting security reviews / self-inspectionsProviding classification guidance to employees, developing and/or providing security education and awareness training, conducting security briefings, and investigating and reporting security incidentsSupporting other security disciplines unique to special access programs to include personnel security, physical security, cybersecurity, communication security (COMSEC), document control, and visitor control. Candidate must be able to respond to after-hours alarms as needed.Performing initial access eligibility determinations and generating PARsParticipating in Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security Compliance Inspections and AssessmentsMaintaining classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records and final disposition documentationServing as the Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO)Working knowledge of prime and subcontract DD 254sEnsuring all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirementsReviewing operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processesResponding to walk-in customers and performing ad hoc security services, as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

 Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is requiredExperience in implementing, managing and administering DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4 Experience in implementing, managing and administering Intelligence Community Directives for SCI programs is desiredDoD Top Secret Clearance eligibility with Investigation current within the last 5 yearsAbility to obtain and maintain all Special Program accesses Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize taskings, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environmentStrong customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communications are a mustWilling to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a variety of program areasWilling to travel on company business (approximately 10% or less)Completion of SAP Orientation, SAP Mid-level Course (CDSE) preferredWorking knowledge of JADE, DISS, and Scattered CastlesDemonstrated knowledge of cyber security, specifically Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4, and ICDs 704-705Ability to perform COMSEC duties, including inventory supportProficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs

Preferred Skills 

Demonstrated knowledge of JSIG, DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4, and ICDs 704-705Working knowledge of Scattered Castles, JADE, and DISSProfessional Certifications (SFPC, FSO, etc.)Able to reason, plan, direct and evaluate situations to make appropriate recommendations and take actions beneficial to the program and the company. Must display tact and self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with customers, vendors, all levels of management.Be able to work within a Compartmented Program environment

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.  All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.  

 Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. 

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. 

Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
