The ACP Finance team has an immediate opening for a Principal Specialist to support our dynamic, solutions-oriented team. Advanced Common Products (ACP) is a portfolio of common high tech electronic solutions within Naval Power. This mission-critical technology is adopted by multiple programs across the company. Products include Ultra, isoBlock and ACE. The success of this program is essential to the Company!

The ACP Business Lead drives continuous process improvement while developing, recommending, and deploying best practices/ strategies to bridge common sense business practices within ACP and the varying financial reporting requirements of the receiving programs, while instilling confidence, dependability, and accountability across all stakeholders. This position works closely with a core Integrated Program Team which includes the Program Management Office, Engineering, Operations, Material Program Management, Quality, Pricing, and the cross functional teams of the receiving programs. Opportunities to interact with Raytheon upper management are an additional benefit. The Principal Specialist will be responsible for supporting financial performance of ACP; requiring significant interaction with the extended IPT and receiving programs to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives. The Principal Specialist is a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of proposals, financial reporting, program maintenance, and EACs.

What You Will Do

Inventory Acquisition Request (AR) and Program material peg shift, sales, liquidation, and EAC analysisAchieve critical deadlines with quality results and perform as a solutions-oriented team member in support of the objectives and initiatives of the business.Top candidates will provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making. Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis.Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Leadership Team (LT) or corrective action implementation.Continue to mature the financial model and proposal process.Accommodate non-recurring critical and urgent requests, including support of briefs with Raytheon and customer leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Experience in Microsoft Excel (Analysis for Office, advanced formulas, advanced modeling).Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills.Experience managing multiple priorities.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with program cost schedule and control.Experience in PRISM, APEX, Business Warehouse.Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.Self-starter highly motivated with a positive "can do" attitude and strong problem solving skills.Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.Some exposure to Earned Value Management and Project Management is desired.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Additional Information

This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
