The Team and Role:
The Acoustic Technical Manager will be mainly responsible for new product development including design, validation, and certification as a member of cross functional teams. This role will be on-site at the Logitech office in Hsinchu, Taiwan. You will be a member of our global Acoustics team working on audio projects across multiple product categories.

Lead projects for acoustic development and implementation of hardware across voice communication devices(webcams), headsets and speakers
Take ownership of lab certifications (TEAMS, ZOOM and Google Meet)
Work with transducer developers to optimize performance
Collaborate with ME, EE, FW teams to optimize audio integration
Characterize audio systems using objective and subjective metrics to ensure the desired end user experience
Collaborate with the algorithm developers to optimize audio/voice performance and tunings
Partner with Engineering/ In-house operation/ OEM/ODM/CM to resolve manufacturing issues
Mentor other engineers
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
At least 8+ experience in audio hardware development
Strong understanding of certifications (TEAMS, ZOOM and Google Meet)
Knowledge of acoustic component and acoustic system characteristics (Microphone/Speaker)
Knowledge of voice processing algorithms (noise suppression, echo cancellation, and beamforming)
Experience with Acoustical/Electrical measurement (ACQUA/Soundcheck/ Audio Precision)
Communication in both Chinese and English
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific experience with webcam audio or other consumer video products (action cam, security cameras, …)
Presentation to groups with diverse backgrounds
Shipping high-volume consumer products
Education:
Candidates for this position will usually have a degree in Acoustics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of related industry experience. If you’ve taken a different path to meet the qualifications, we look forward to hearing your story.
