L’acheteur(e) est responsable de l'approvisionnement, de l'achat et de la gestion des stocks pour l'entreprise, en veillant à ce que tous les matériaux, produits et fournitures soient acquis au meilleur coût, avec une qualité optimale et dans les délais requis. Ce rôle implique la négociation avec les fournisseurs, la gestion des commandes d'achat et la collaboration avec les équipes internes pour maintenir des niveaux de stock optimaux et soutenir les opérations de l'entreprise.

Principales responsabilités:

Identifier et sélectionner des fournisseurs pour les matières premières et composantsMaintenir des niveaux de stock optimaux afin d'éviter les ruptures ou le surstockageParticiper aux activités de réduction des coûts, observer et signaler les augmentations de prixSuivre la performance des fournisseurs et négocier les prix, conditions et contratsDévelopper et entretenir des relations solides avec les fournisseurs et partenairesÉvaluer la performance des fournisseurs en fonction des KPI (qualité, coût, délais)

Qualifications

Gestion des achats et des stocks.Assure l’approvisionnement optimal en matériaux et produits, au meilleur coût et dans les délais requis.Relations fournisseurs et négociation. Sélectionne les fournisseurs, négocie les contrats, et évalue leur performance selon les KPI.Maîtrise des outils et analyse. Utilise Excel, SharePoint, Power BI et ERP (SAP un atout) pour optimiser les processus d’achat.Collaboration et gestion des risques. Travaille en autonomie, collabore avec l’équipe en Inde, et gère proactivement les risques et escalades.Le français est requis. L'anglais est nécessaire pour communiquer avec des clients à l’extérieur du Québec sur une base régulière.

Your role and responsibilities

The Strategic Buyer is responsible for procurement, purchasing, and inventory management for the company, ensuring that all materials, products, and supplies are acquired at the best cost, with optimal quality, and within required timelines. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support business operations.



The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Quebec.

You will be mainly accountable for:Identify and select suppliers for raw materials and componentsMaintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock out or overstockingParticipate in cost reduction initiatives and monitor/report price increasesMonitor supplier performance and negotiate pricing, terms, and contractsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partnersEvaluate supplier performance based on KPIs (quality, cost, delivery times)
Qualifications for the role

Purchasing and Inventory Management. Ensures optimal procurement of materials and products at the best cost and within required timelines.

Supplier Relations and Negotiation. Selects suppliers, negotiates contracts, and evaluates performance based on KPIs.

Tool Proficiency and Analysis. Uses Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and ERP (SAP is a plus) to streamline purchasing processes.

Collaboration and Risk Management. Works independently, collaborates with the team in India, and proactively manages risks and escalations.

French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
