ACH Technical Analyst

Job Description
A large financial organization is seeking an Application Support Analyst (ACH) for a contract opportunity through the end of the year (with a likelihood for extensions into next year & potential for hire).
This individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of business-critical ACH applications. You’ll work closely with end users, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement new solutions, and optimize application functionality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Incident & Problem Management
• Own the incident management process for application-related issues.
• Act as the final escalation point for technical issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
• Minimize service disruptions and ensure timely restoration of services within SLA targets.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Resolve application errors and bugs, working with development teams when needed.
• Use diagnostic tools and logs to investigate and resolve complex problems.
• Documentation & Standards
• Develop and maintain support documentation
• Establish and enforce application support standards and best practices.
• User Support & Training
• Provide expert-level support and guidance to end users and internal teams.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members on supported applications.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

Skills and Requirements
• 5-7+ years of experience with Application Support/ Application Analyst
• ACH - Deep business knowledge of ACH + understands ACH as a product
• CICS – ability to navigate transaction data on CICS greenscreens
• PEP+ Functional Knowledge • Banking industry experience or previous 5/3 experience
• Snowflake (fundamental knowledge; knows how to engage with basic functions & extract data)
• PowerBi – can create simple dashboard
• ServiceNow – navigate the platform null
