Under the supervision of the Accreditation Manager, this position will exist to provide analysis, monitoring and administering of the accreditation program for the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP); this includes activities regarding the agency accreditations through the national governing body Commission on the Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). This position provides technical assistance throughout the accreditation process including 1) review and analyze the agency's response and compliance to CALEA standards, 2) monitor accreditation program activities and progress reports, 3) ensures accreditation compliance with administrative and reporting provisions of CALEA. **Minimum Qualifications** Two (2) * years of advanced administrative support, paraprofessional, or advanced technical experience. Experience should include the following: 1. Strong communication methods and ability to assist in applying best-practices and innovation in a collaborative environment. 2. Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior administrators, clients and government officials; skilled in collaborating to achieve goals and delivering both positive and constructive feedback with tact and professionalism. 3. Ability to manage qualitative and quantitative analysis sufficient to evaluate program related data and extract meaningful information to apply to program operations. 4. Skills in interpreting program-related regulations, manuals, and guidance materials to resolve compliance issues; experienced in navigating program budgets and providing informed advise to support regulatory compliance. 5. Detail-orientated and process-driven, with a growth mindset and ability to adapt while building programs that align with short and long-term visions. 6. Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. *An associate degree may substitute for six months of experience or a bachelor degree may substitute for twelve months of service. **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Knowledge of CALEA and MNLEAP (state accreditation) standards. 2. Ability to display proper etiquette, professionalism, and confidentiality. 3. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively organize work, follow procedures and directions. 4. Experience training staff and the development of financial training materials. **Physical Requirements** Light: Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others, and moving and transporting light objects frequently.
