ACCREDITATION SPECIALIST

Summary
Leads the School of Nursing (SON) in continuously assessing and improving accreditation processes and adopting best practices. Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, tracks and trends outcome data, and supports the faculty and administration in being able to provide an outstanding education for students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
+ Tracks and analyzes student, course, and program outcomes over time and by cohort.
+ Remains current with accreditation standards as they change over time. Advises faculty and administration of changes and works to ensure that accreditation standards are met.
+ Has primary responsibility with support from administration and faculty for writing and organizing accreditation documents and required reporting, including annual and quarterly reports as needed.
+ Demonstrates leadership skills in promoting changes within the SON with the goals of meeting/exceeding accreditation standards and improving the education process.
+ Participates in the shared-governance model
+ Supports all programs at the school with meeting accreditation standards including (but not limited to) PAC meetings, admission and enrollment standards, policy revision and development.
+ Does not need Epic access
+ Other duties as consistent with this role.
Job Requirements
Job Knowledge and Skills
+ Familiar with accreditation standards (ACCSC, ACEN) and state and national education requirements – preferred.
+ Accreditation and/or data management experience - preferred
Education and Experience
+ Current New Hampshire RN license required
+ Master’s degree or higher in nursing or education strongly preferred
+ Minimum of three years’ experience as a faculty member at a school of higher education preferred
