Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join a team on a long-term contract basis in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee critical aspects of accounts receivable management, including billing, collections, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in AR functions and a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections. • Handle cash applications and ensure proper allocation of payments. • Monitor and analyze aging reports to identify outstanding balances and develop strategies for resolution. • Supervise commercial collections activities to optimize cash flow. • Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations in all AR-related functions. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency. • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable performance to senior management. • Address customer inquiries and resolve disputes related to billing or payment discrepancies. • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in AR operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing accounts receivable processes. • Expertise in Medicare and Medicaid billing and collections. • Strong knowledge of cash applications and aging reports. • Demonstrated ability to handle commercial collections effectively. • Proficiency in managing billing functions and resolving discrepancies. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
