Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team in New York, New York. This role requires strong leadership skills and expertise in managing accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting. You will oversee a small team and collaborate closely with management to maintain financial efficiency. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage a team of three accounts receivable specialists, ensuring efficient collection processes. • Conduct weekly accounts receivable meetings with the managing director to review progress and address challenges. • Approve credit applications and ensure compliance with company policies. • Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights on accounts receivable performance. • Utilize SAP software to manage and streamline accounts receivable operations. • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding balances. • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their performance and support their growth. • Monitor and evaluate the team’s workflow, making adjustments to optimize productivity. • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and maintain positive relationships. • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies in all accounts receivable activities. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable management or supervision. • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting. • Strong knowledge of SAP software and its application in accounts receivable. • Ability to handle credit approvals and ensure compliance with company standards. • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
