Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Garland, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable functions and ensuring timely and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: • Accurately process daily cash postings and reconcile payment batches. • Perform batch posting reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Prepare and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner. • Address chargebacks promptly to minimize revenue adjustments. • Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date. • Reduce account delinquencies through proactive communication and follow-up. • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve account issues. • Handle foreign invoices and ensure compliance with accounting procedures. • Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports to the Accounting Manager. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles. • High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLookups. • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles. • Experience working with foreign invoices and international accounts. • Familiarity with accounting software systems such as Great Plains and IBM AS/400. • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
