Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions. This role involves using Linux software to print invoices and statements, validate invoices against overnight system entries, and manage cash applications. The Specialist will handle checks and bank files received every morning, applying payments through a combination of live checks and ACH Wire payments, and ensure these checks are scanned directly to the bank.
ResponsibilitiesPrint invoices and statements every morning using Linux software.Validate invoices against system entries received overnight from branches.Fold and mail envelopes for outgoing invoices and statements.Manage cash applications including checks and ACH Wire payments.Scan checks to the bank onsite and ensure direct connection with Key Bank.Essential SkillsHigh School DiplomaExperience in Accounts ReceivableProficiency in Cash ApplicationsCustomer Invoicing expertiseExperience with Automated ERP systems such as AS400, Oracle, JDEdwards, SAP, Great Plains, NetSuite, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong attention to detailTimeliness and good organizational skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in Accounts ReceivableWork Environment
Join a collaborative team of 4, reporting to the Accounting Manager and CFO, in a fully onsite role from Monday through Friday. This position offers the opportunity to work with one of the largest construction manufacturing companies in the New England area, with potential for extension beyond the initial 6-month term.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
