Description Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to efficiently manage billing operations and ensure accuracy in processing invoices for both internal and external customers. This is a position with a growing company based in Howard County, MD! This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to provide exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: + Generate and submit accurate invoices to customers + Review contracts and change orders to ensure proper billing compliance + Work closely with internal and external teams to gather necessary billing information + Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing discrepancies + Maintain billing schedules and ensure deadlines are met + Coordinate with the accounting team on accounts receivable and collections + Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment status + Assist in monthly closing processes and provide billing reports as needed + Ensure billing procedures comply with internal controls and company policies + Maintain organized billing records and documentation for audits and internal use + Making collections calls as needed on outstanding accounts + Specialist accounting projects as needed Requirements • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools. • Experience working in a high volume billing and invoicing environment • Strong communication • Ability to make collections calls as needed (minimal) • Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies effectively.
