Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Suwanee, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining smooth cash flow operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounts receivable and collaborate with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: • Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and account statements in a timely manner. • Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure all financial records align with company standards. • Maintain detailed accounts receivable records, including payment tracking and account status updates. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, irregularities, and inquiries related to customer accounts. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete and accurate ledger and journal updates. • Provide support for shared services across multiple affiliates, ensuring consistency and adherence to financial practices. • Assist with general accounting tasks and provide additional support as required. • Prepare ad hoc reports and complete assignments as directed by the Accounts Receivable Manager. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field. • Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications and billing functions. • Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash activity management. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve account discrepancies. • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and affiliates. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate financial records. • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
