Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in AR processes and accounting systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately apply daily cash payments to customer accounts. • Submit invoices and payment requests through various client portals. • Match supporting documents to invoices and ensure timely submission to clients. • Assist with collections efforts when time permits. • Perform dual entry tasks, including check deposits, billing support, and invoice summaries. • Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable mailbox to address inquiries and maintain organization. • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions between accounting platforms. • Receive training on relevant software tools, including QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite, to enhance operational efficiency. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable processes, including cash applications and collections. • Proficiency with accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite. • Strong familiarity with ERP systems and general accounting functions. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for accurate data analysis and reporting. • Ability to work 100% onsite in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. • Initiative-driven and able to learn quickly with minimal supervision. • Experience working with third-party auditors is a plus.
