Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves managing critical financial processes, including collections, billing, and cash applications, to ensure accuracy and efficiency. As a Contract-to-permanent position, this opportunity offers a pathway to long-term employment within the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: • Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records. • Manage commercial collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of outstanding balances. • Apply payments accurately and promptly using cash application procedures. • Handle billing functions, including preparing and reviewing invoices for accuracy. • Monitor cash activity and ensure proper allocation across accounts. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve financial workflows. • Generate regular reports on accounts receivable performance and trends. • Support audits and compliance efforts by providing necessary documentation. • Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and resolve issues effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and billing functions. • Strong knowledge of commercial collections processes and best practices. • Proficiency in financial systems and tools used for accounts receivable management. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach. • Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus. • High level of organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
