Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities: • Generate and distribute invoices accurately based on contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements. • Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and implement effective collection strategies. • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are properly recorded and accounted for. • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with customers and internal departments. • Process incoming payments using various methods, including checks, wire transfers, and credit cards. • Maintain organized records of all accounts receivable activities, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable status, including aging summaries and cash receipts. • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes. • Assist in optimizing accounts receivable workflows and implementing process improvements. • Provide documentation and support for audits related to accounts receivable transactions. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field. • Proficiency in accounts receivable functions, including cash applications and billing processes. • Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash activity management. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial records accurately. • Experience with various payment processing methods such as checks, wire transfers, and credit cards. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills for resolving billing issues. • Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
