Description Robert Half is looking for an Account Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including collecting payments, posting payments, bank and credit card reconciliations, utilizing accounting software systems, and more. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. • Perform detailed reconciliations for bank accounts and credit card transactions. • Process accounts receivable transactions using Microsoft Great Plains software. • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records. • Investigate and resolve issues related to outstanding balances or payment challenges. • Provide regular updates on accounts receivable status and performance metrics. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, including commercial collections. • Strong proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial tracking. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Great Plains accounting software is preferred. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of data accurately. • Effective communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
