Job Description
Uploads electronic contributions data to V3 system, identifying reporting errors and reconciling discrepancies when necessary.
Contacts producers and payroll services regarding incomplete information on the contributions reports, discrepancies between the amounts on the report and check, unidentified checks, missing reports, etc.
Validates reporting compliance with applicable DGA Bargaining Agreements, researching when necessary.
Processes daily check deposit: Balances checks with total contributions reported; Verifies that checks meet basic criteria, like payable to Plans, not post or stale-dated, etc. as well as that check payor is a DGA-signatory producer and is the same company on the contributions report. Scans checks for deposit using the bank remote deposit application; Imports the payments to V3 system.
Identifies potential authenticity candidates while processing contributions.
Coordinates with DGA, Inc. employees regarding the signatory status of producers, sends signatory confirmation emails to the Guild regarding non-signatory producers remitting contributions to the Plans.
Coordinates with DGA, Inc. employees to obtain all required information necessary to process contributions payments related to Clips, Arbitrations and Settlements.
Processes Delinquency Invoices: Coordinates with Plans staff and processes contributions and payments received for delinquency invoices.
Processes contributions adjustments to correct various errors, including refunds of overpayments.
Processes gross receipt contributions distribution.
Responds to contributions-related phone inquiries from both participants and production companies/payroll services.
