Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Auburn, Washington. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The role combines hybrid work flexibility with responsibilities centered on managing accounts receivable processes and maintaining financial accuracy. Responsibilities: • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts receivable transactions. • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and payment records. • Process various payment types, including cash applications, credit card refunds, and platform-based transactions such as Versapay and PayPal. • Monitor and manage short payments and billing discounts to ensure compliance with company policies. • Conduct account reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial documentation. • Assist in setting up new customer accounts and performing credit evaluations. • Utilize tools such as NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for effective accounts receivable management. • Participate in training programs to stay updated on systems and processes, demonstrating adaptability and eagerness to learn. • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. • Provide recommendations to enhance accounts receivable procedures and support overall financial goals. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as NetSuite, ADP, or similar platforms. • Experience with accounts receivable functions, including billing and cash applications. • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. • Strong skills in financial reconciliation and credit evaluation. • Ability to handle cash transactions and manage credit-related collections. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for addressing customer inquiries. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes in a dynamic work environment.
