Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments, proper transaction recording, and resolution of discrepancies in accordance with company policies. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, building relationships with vendors and internal teams.Maintain and update contact databases and process documentation.Navigate company portals and update complex Excel reports.Post payments, reconcile ledgers, and resolve discrepancies.Communicate with customers to collect payments and resolve issues.Manage payment plans and coordinate with collections agencies as needed.Support internal teams and respond to customer inquiries professionally.Generate financial reports and assist with audits.Maintain accurate customer data in ERP systems.Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED required.3+ years of accounts receivable/collections/accounting experience.Technical skills to operate in multiple ERP and various systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Knowledge of general accounting principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsEffective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.Analytical skills, in-depth organization, and decision-making.High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.Flexibility to assist any of the companies supported by the Shared Services team.Experience in Pharma/BioTech/MedTech preferred.Preference for candidates from larger organizations.Work Environment

Located in downtown ATX, the office offers a premium, gorgeous view. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work alongside the AR/Payroll teams in an open concept office with cubicles. The shared services team has 4 A/R Reps assigned to their entity with a total of 14 A/R Reps. The office features a BEVI machine, catered lunches very often, and two separate state-of-the-art kitchens. There is a career path available, including leadership and supervisory programs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
