Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with large data sets to manage financial operations effectively. You will play a key role in streamlining processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, and maintaining the integrity of financial records. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable records. • Assist with AR forecasting by analyzing cash flow trends and projecting future obligations. • Manage billing processes, ensuring invoices are correctly assigned to the appropriate accounts. • Utilize NetSuite and advanced Excel functions to handle large data sets and maintain financial accuracy. • Oversee cash application processes, ensuring that payments are applied to the correct accounts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and improve audit readiness. • Monitor customer payment trends and address discrepancies proactively. • Read and interpret contracts to determine accurate billing terms and cash allocation. • Clear outdated transactions in NetSuite to maintain clean financial records. • Support end-of-year audit preparation by addressing aged receivables and ensuring compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel, including handling large data sets. • Strong understanding of cash applications, billing functions, and account reconciliation. • Ability to analyze financial data and forecast cash flow accurately. • Experience in documenting SOPs and supporting audit processes. • Familiarity with customer payment trends and resolving payment discrepancies. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to interpret contracts and align billing processes with terms.
