Accounts Receivable Specialist

Irvine, CA

Responsibilities

- Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with a high degree of accuracy on a daily basis

- Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices

- Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries

- Research entries posted to Unapplied Cash

- Respond to cash receipt inquiries from our various offices

- Respond to various email inquiries from customers and/or other departments in a timely manner

- Ensure all cash receipts are in balance with Bank Ledger entries at month-end

- Assist with other projects when necessary

Qualifications:

- 3 + years of cash application experience highly preferred

- AA degree or accounting experience required

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Work Skills

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Effective communication skills with customers and other team members at all levels

- Strong customer service skills

- Time management and organization skills

- Attention to detail/high degree of accuracy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
