Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a leading manufacturing company in Grapevine, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing accounts receivable processes while collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team. The ideal candidate will excel in customer account management, credit handling, and reconciliation tasks to ensure seamless financial operations. Responsibilities: • Process and evaluate credit applications, ensuring accuracy and maintaining proper documentation. • Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is current and accurate. • Issue credit memos to customers and resolve any related inquiries or discrepancies. • Investigate outstanding credit issues and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. • Monitor account activity to manage credit holds and approve timely releases. • Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to address account inquiries and troubleshoot issues. • Manage Salesforce cases related to customer accounts and credit matters. • Reconcile customer accounts, resolving open balances and maintaining accurate records. • Handle specialized customer documentation, including tax-exempt certificates and lien release requests. • Support general accounting operations by performing additional tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications and collections. • Strong understanding of credit management and credit application processes. • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other relevant accounting software. • Ability to analyze and resolve account discrepancies with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams. • Familiarity with reconciling customer accounts and managing unapplied payments. • Experience in handling specialized documentation, such as tax-exempt certificates. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
