Our client, a thriving company with a commitment to excellence, is in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the company's receivables process by ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, collections, and payment allocations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has a proactive attitude, and consistently maintains attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
+ Monitor customer accounts for late payments and perform collections efforts while maintaining positive client relationships.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including payment misapplications and billing disputes.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy in account setup and billing processes.
+ Generate regular AR aging reports and provide actionable insights to management.
+ Assist in month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries for AR transactions and reconciling GL accounts.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
+ Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AR activities.
Requirements
+ Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks; advanced Excel skills preferred.
+ Strong understanding of accounts receivable and general accounting principles.
+ Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
+ Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams professionally.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
+ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred but not required.
