Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate billing and invoicing while maintaining smooth financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in accounts receivable processes and contribute to the organization's revenue management. Responsibilities: • Process and manage invoices by matching, batching, coding, and entering data accurately. • Post and reconcile financial batches to ensure proper record-keeping. • Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies with customers or vendors. • Update and reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger. • Conduct collections activities to recover outstanding payments. • Manage cash applications, including account reconciliations and chargebacks. • Collaborate on process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts receivable operations. Requirements • 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting. • Proficiency with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting systems. • Strong 10-key data entry skills for accurate financial processing. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Adaptability to learn new processes and tools. • Commitment to meeting deadlines with consistent follow-through.
