Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Independence, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while working in a hybrid capacity, with a mix of remote work and occasional onsite responsibilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoicing, cash application, and vendor communication. Responsibilities: • Process and manage high-volume invoicing with precision and timeliness. • Apply cash payments accurately to corresponding accounts and maintain detailed records. • Establish and maintain clear communication with vendors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless accounts receivable operations. • Perform administrative tasks such as handling mail and supporting miscellaneous needs during onsite days. • Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains/Dynamics, to manage financial data. • Analyze and manipulate data using Excel for reporting and reconciliation purposes. • Contribute to maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable activities. • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support other tasks as needed within the department. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and analysis. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members. • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience working in a collaborative team environment. • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred. • Ability to adapt to hybrid work schedules and occasional onsite responsibilities.
