Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis in Forest Grove, Oregon. In this role, you will manage essential accounting functions including invoicing, collections, and payment applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. This position requires attention to detail and proficiency with accounting systems to support efficient operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and finalize billing materials for entry into accounting software systems. • Generate and manage customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness. • Monitor and execute accounts receivable collections to maintain cash flow. • Apply customer payments to accounts and reconcile discrepancies. • Review PayPal transactions and ensure proper application of payments. • Handle sales tax reporting responsibilities within required deadlines. • Utilize accounting software and CRM tools to manage financial data and records. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of cash handling and billing processes. • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Microsoft Great Plains. • Experience with CRM and ERP platforms to manage financial operations. • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and billing functions. • Ability to handle cash activity and reconcile accounts efficiently. • Demonstrated expertise in applying payments and managing collections. • Familiarity with sales tax reporting requirements and processes. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
