Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in New York. In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer accounts, overseeing collections, and ensuring the accuracy of invoices and payments. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Prepare and issue customer invoices with precision and timeliness. • Monitor overdue accounts and actively engage customers to ensure prompt payments. • Reconcile customer accounts and address any discrepancies or billing concerns. • Record incoming payments, including checks, wire transfers, and other methods, to ensure accurate account updates. • Generate and share aging reports and other accounts receivable metrics with management. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and billing processes. • Familiarity with cash applications and commercial collections. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software. • Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies effectively. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
