Description A leading automotive company is looking to hire an experienced and efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume payables and contribute to the smooth financial operations of the company. This is an exciting role for a motivated professional ready to thrive in the automotive industry. Primary Duties: The AP Specialist will oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process and ensure timely vendor payments. Core responsibilities include: + Processing and coding high-volume invoices accurately into the accounting system. + Reconciling vendor statements and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved. + Managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely communication regarding invoices and payments. + Preparing weekly check runs and coordinating ACH and wire payments. + Ensuring proper compliance with company policies and tax regulations, including W-9s and 1099 requirements. + Assisting in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing AP accruals. Requirements + 2–3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. + Advanced knowledge of AP processes, reporting, and reconciliation. + Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or DealerTrack preferred) and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups). + Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. + Exceptional communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions. + Independent while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
