About the role
As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll take ownership of a critical function within our finance operations. You’ll lead a team responsible for managing receivables, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections. With authority over personnel decisions and process improvements, you’ll help drive operational excellence and contribute to broader financial strategies.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily AR operations and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Supervise and support a team of professionals, providing guidance and training.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Coordinate with customers and sales departments to resolve any issues that might delay invoicing.
Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts.
Prepare daily and weekly transaction reports for management review.
Implement transaction entry verification procedures to ensure accuracy.
Assist in month-end closing activities by providing necessary data and reports.
Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition process.
Maintain accuracy of Receivable accounts including unbilled and deferred revenue.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of +5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar financial roles.Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead position in a Accounts Receivable department.Proven experience in supervising and training professionals.Proficiency in accounting software (SAP), MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other tolls(such as SalesForce).Experience in software industry is a plus.Strong understanding of basic financial principles and practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and customers.Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.Our Offer
