Accounts Receivable Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities and a background in retail or wholesale finance. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. • Oversee the daily operations of accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and reconciliations. • Handle chargeback processes, ensuring timely resolutions and accurate reporting. • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate detailed reports. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency. • Implement and monitor accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. • Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and foster their growth. • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize accounts receivable workflows. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounts receivable management. • Proven expertise in handling chargebacks and resolving related issues. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. • Familiarity with accounting software systems such as 3M, ADP Financial Services, and Concur. • Knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with accounting processes. • Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing functions. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
