Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to join our team in Rockford, Illinois. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in business-to-business accounts receivable and the ability to guide and support team members effectively. The role requires strong organizational skills and expertise in managing complex processes within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage aging accounts across multiple branches, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution. • Provide training and best practices guidance to administrative staff across 24 branch locations. • Take ownership of accounts receivable projects aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy. • Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation and reporting. • Step in to assist team members during high-demand periods, absences, or special projects. • Address and resolve accounts receivable-related inquiries from team members and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to billing and collections. • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP for reporting and data analysis. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve communication. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of business-to-business accounts receivable experience. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, billing, and cash applications. • Strong skills in commercial collections and cash collections. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP. • Ability to train and mentor administrative employees effectively. • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities.
