Amrize Building Envelope LLC d/b/a Duro-Last has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Clerk II at our Duro-Last Corporate Headquarters located in Saginaw, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting AR staff with daily functions within the department, processing and assigning emails to AR staff to achieve high customer service standards. As well as ensuring proper documents are received to process tax credits.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
• Process customer waivers, tax credits, payments, and all other customer correspondence
• Maintain customer master maintenance including responding to all customer faxes, e-mails, and overflow phone calls daily
• Post Cash / Payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and assist with credit/rebills and 3-way match reports
• Send credit reference request for new and existing customers and run credit reports
• Create and process immediate shipment billings
• Scanning, matching, creating, and entering invoices and packing slips into database
• Pulling vendor invoices, pack slips, and backup documents for yearly audits
• Daily bank account reconciliations to A/R and A/P
• All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or 4+ years working experience in Accounts Receivable or Customer Service setting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures for customer account reconciliations.
• Data entry skills as well as proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Accurate and detail oriented.
• Excellent customer service skills and negotiation skills.
• Ability to search internet and other resources to locate information when needed.
