Description We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client in Napa. You will handle billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. This is a Contract position ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: • Generate and distribute guest invoices, group billing statements, and vendor invoices promptly, adhering to company policies. • Record and apply payments to accounts while monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments. • Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable and guest folios. • Address guest inquiries regarding billing issues or account statements while providing detailed and timely assistance. • Maintain comprehensive and organized financial documentation to support accurate reporting and audit compliance. • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Front Desk, Reservations, and Sales, to resolve billing adjustments and streamline communication. • Prepare and present accounts receivable aging reports and other financial analyses for review by the Accounting Manager or Hotel Controller. • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory standards related to accounts receivable processes. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related role. • Proficiency in billing functions and collections in a commercial setting. • Strong knowledge of Excel and Great Plains Dynamics. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to address inquiries and collaborate with teams. • Familiarity with compliance standards and financial documentation practices.
