Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities: • Reconcile daily deposits across multiple departments to ensure accuracy. • Maintain and research vendor receivables. • Process payment receipts from statements and ensure proper documentation. • Conduct collection calls to resolve outstanding balances and follow up on payments. • Generate and distribute monthly statements promptly. • Collaborate with the team to support accounts payable tasks as needed. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities. • Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving account issues efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of three years of verifiable experience in accounts receivable roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting. • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes. • Excellent communication skills for collection calls and team collaboration. • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
