Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee client invoicing, collections, and the maintenance of financial records related to outstanding payments. This role is instrumental in ensuring accurate cash flow management and fostering positive client relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and has a solid understanding of accounting principles, especially those pertaining to accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Invoice Management: Prepare, issue, and track invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
+ Collection Activities: Regularly communicate with clients to follow up on outstanding invoices while maintaining professionalism and fostering client relationships.
+ Payment Processing: Record received payments accurately in the system and reconcile accounts as necessary.
+ Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with internal teams to address client concerns.
+ Reporting: Generate accounts receivable reports, analyze trends, and provide insights to management regarding collection strategies.
+ Compliance: Adhere to all relevant financial regulations, corporate guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ Experience: 2–3 years of accounts receivable or related experience; staffing agency experience is advantageous.
+ Technology Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with corporate technology standards is beneficial.
+ Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
