Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with financial data. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Process and post invoices to the correct customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency. • Maintain detailed records of customer transactions and ensure proper documentation. • Handle collections and follow up on outstanding payments to resolve discrepancies. • Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile them with billing statements. • Communicate with internal stakeholders to address account-related inquiries. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, track, and analyze financial data. • Manage cash applications and collections in compliance with company policies. • Support billing functions and ensure timely issuance of invoices. • Follow established procedures while adhering to company guidelines. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related role. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. • Familiarity with commercial collections and cash applications. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Consistent work history with evidence of reliability and professionalism.
