Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity, requiring consistent availability in an on-site setting. The role is ideal for individuals with an entry level background in accounts receivable and proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities: • Generate and manage a variety of Excel reports daily for the accounts receivable collections team, utilizing advanced tools such as VLookups and Pivot Tables. • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of accounts receivable data. • Maintain organized and detailed records of transactions and communications with clients. • Use Microsoft Word and Outlook to prepare and send well-organized correspondence and documentation. • Assist in resolving discrepancies in accounts receivable by communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders. • Support the team with administrative tasks related to collections and reporting. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing sensitive financial information. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable processes and procedures. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, VLookups, and Pivot Tables. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication abilities in a focused and detail-oriented environment. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office setting. • Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
