Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. This role is within the manufacturing industry and offers a Contract-to-Permanent opportunity for candidates eager to grow their expertise. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing collections, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and maintaining positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers. Responsibilities: • Manage business-to-business collections by communicating with customers and internal sales and service teams to resolve invoicing issues for assigned U.S. sites. • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to assess overdue accounts and create actionable plans for resolution. • Prepare and distribute Accounts Receivable Aging reports to monitor outstanding balances. • Work closely with international team members to address cash application and daily cash reconciliation challenges. • Ensure timely and accurate processing of billing and account reconciliation tasks. • Utilize software tools such as Oracle and Excel to maintain financial records and analyze data. • Foster strong working relationships with remote personnel to streamline financial operations. • Address and resolve discrepancies in cash applications and collections in a precise and thorough manner. Requirements • Possess 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role. • Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills. • Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems is preferred. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. • Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Maintain strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
