Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Williamsville, New York. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who excels in managing financial data and maintaining accurate records. The role focuses on ensuring seamless cash applications, commercial collections, and billing processes. Responsibilities: • Process and record accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. • Manage commercial collections to ensure timely payment and resolution of outstanding balances. • Apply cash payments to customer accounts while maintaining detailed records. • Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure all financial data is up-to-date. • Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection activities. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and payment processes. • Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations. • Assist in improving workflows and identifying areas for process enhancement. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. • Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash applications processes. • Proficiency in financial software and tools. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management. • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports. • Familiarity with billing functions and reconciliation practices. • Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
