Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, based in ANN ARBOR, Michigan. This is a hybrid role - 2 days ONSITE in Ann Arbor. Pay is up to $27 per hour. Core Functions for the Accounts Receivable Clerk: - NetSuite highly preferred - Credit card processing - Clearing invoices for payment - Responsible for daily cash postings. Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices. - Review payment discrepancies and address with the customer. - Maintain bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations. - Perform month end close duties, which may include sending out customer statements, reconciliation of A/R accounts, and performing customer aging analysis. - Assist with providing account specific documentation to various internal and external customers. This may include invoices, Bill of - Landings, freight confirmations, statements, and audit related documents. - Maintain accurate records for all AR accounts. Ensure cash and invoices are properly applied to customer accounts and are posted correctly. - Other duties as assigned. Accounts Receivable Clerk must meet the following criteria: Minimum 2 year of Accounts Receivable experience is required. Intermediate to high level data entry skills. Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge in ERP and internet software. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers, with a clear comprehension of accounting terminology. Ability to compute basic math. Requirements • A minimum of two years of experience in accounts receivable roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is highly preferred. • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and terminology. • Competence in basic mathematical computations. • Experience in handling high-volume invoicing and resolving invoice discrepancies.
