Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Overview As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the accounts receivable operations, including processing invoices, managing payment transactions, and maintaining accurate customer account records. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will contribute to the overall success of the accounting team. Requirements Key Responsibilities + Prepare and issue accurate invoices for customers promptly to ensure timely payment collection. + Track incoming payments, verify accuracy, and apply payments to customer accounts. + Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies. + Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring all payments are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed. + Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing tasks, including preparing reports and account analyses. + Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional customer service and resolve billing issues. + Uphold compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications + 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software and tools (experience with ERP systems is a plus). + Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and other common office applications. + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for interfacing with teams and customers. Preferred Qualifications + Associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred but not required. + Prior experience working in a fast-paced or customer-focused finance environment.
